HARRISBURG – Rep. Joe Hamm (R-Lycoming/Sullivan) today announced grant funding through this year’s Career and Technical Education Equipment Grants Program. Jersey Shore Area School District was awarded $18,689.
“As a strong supporter of CTE programs, I’m happy to see these dollars return to our students,” said Hamm. “This funding will allow more students at Jersey Shore Area School District to refine their skillset and gain more hands-on experience that will prepare them for the future.”
Jersey Shore Area School District was one of 55 career and technical centers and school districts to be awarded grant funding. The funding will go toward purchasing new equipment to help train students in high-demand occupations through career and technical education programs.
