The 84th Legislative District consists of portions of LYCOMING County consisting of the townships of Anthony, Bastress, Brady, Brown, Cascade, Cogan House, Cummings, Eldred, Fairfield, Franklin, Gamble, Hepburn, Jackson, Jordan, Lewis, Limestone, Lycoming, McHenry, McIntyre, McNett, Mifflin, Mill Creek, Moreland, Muncy, Muncy Creek, Nippenose, Penn, Piatt, Pine, Plunketts Creek, Porter, Shrewsbury, Upper Fairfield, Washington, Watson and Wolf and the boroughs of Hughesville, Jersey Shore, Montoursville, Muncy, Picture Rocks and Salladasburg; and portions of UNION County including the townships of White Deer and Gregg.

Hamm Says Now is Not the Time for More Taxes

HARRISBURG – Gov. Tom Wolf today issued his proposal for Pennsylvania’s 2021-22 budget. The governor has proposed a budget of $40.2 billion, which is an increase of $3 billion, or 8.2% over the 2019-20 budget. Focal points of the governor’s proposal included a 46% increase in Personal Income Tax (PIT) rates, an increased minimum wage and a severance tax on natural gas production.

Hamm Announces Committee Appointments for 2021-22 Session

Joe Hamm (R-Lycoming/Union) today announced that he has been appointed to the House Environmental Resources and Energy, Game and Fisheries, Local Government, and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness committees. Hamm was sworn into the House of Representatives on Jan. 5.
